BEHIND THE BRUSHES

As far back as I can remember, I've been intrigued and inspired by my everyday visual experiences and the worlds complex aesthetic qualities. Every rock, leaf, branch, cloud, bug, animal, person; all filled with such stimulating natural beauty and wonder. So many patterns, shapes, values, colours and textures to be studied and explored. For me, every visual experience is a plethora of regeneration, intricacy, and fascinating detail. Each observation can be experienced as a work of art. And therefore, it is simply a natural process to mimic nature in my artworks. Nonetheless, I am continually developing and perfecting my craft, and therefore also do many studies and/or renditions of existing artworks to explore and better understand the various techniques, styles and mediums that inspire me.
